Case Study - St. Coletta School

AfHDC
Team,

I will not be able to
make tonight’s meeting, but I have been thinking about some good examples of the
branding concept expressed by the folks from Bethania Kids.  A recent
project built here in DC that is a good illustration of one method of branding
is the St. Coletta School (http://www.stcoletta.org/) in southeast
Washington near RFK Stadium.

Attached is a PDF of
St. Coletta’s annual report from last year which contains some nice interior and
exterior images of the school (whoops—did anyone happen to catch that “Annaul”
is misspelled on the first page of the document?!).  Anyway, you’ll notice
that the organization now uses the school building profile as their logo (check
out the creative logo use to make a snowflake on Page 8).  I also attached
an article about the school that was published last spring in the National
Building Museum’s Blueprints magazine.  After reading the article, I think
you’ll agree that there may be some great things we can learn from this
particular project—perhaps we should contact the school to see if we could
schedule a tour of the facilities in the near future?

Have a great meeting
tonight—I’ll see you all soon.
