Bethania Kickoff Meeting - Vapianos

Hello members,

I wanted to extend the invitation to our kickoff meeting for the Bethania Kids project next Thursday, March 20th meeting at Vapiano located at the intersection of Glebe Rd and Wilson Blvd (Ballston Metro area). The location was chosen as a middle ground between REACH (Winchester, VA)and our group in DC.

The scope involves AfH to design and help construct a children’s home in Southeastern India. The building complex will house 45 children, there will be a dormitory building and common area. Bethania Kids would like the design to become a unique “brand” where it can be used as a model for the second larger project that will follow (and we were asked to be involved also :) ).

The meeting will unfold any details we currently have on the project and offer opportunity to ask any questions you may have. We would like to start forming the project team from this meeting.

This project is a great opportunity to volunteer some of your time, share some of your ideas and become more involved with the organization.

Please email me if you interested so I can get a head count in case we need to switch venues due to numbers, but the Vapiano location should be fine.
